FUE Hair Transplant in Turkey

Today, the majority of hair transplantation operations are carried out by FUE method. Since it does not require general anaesthesia, patients can decide with greater certainty and prefer this technique.

How Is FUE Hair Transplantation Has Done?

Hair follicles from the donor area (nape) are extracted one at a time and prepared for planting. Individual roots are extracted from the back of the hair with the ends of 0.7-1 mm micromotor tissue and planted in sparse or open areas. In the open area, an average of 2,500-5,500 hair grafts can be planted. It is done without the use of any surgical procedures or sewing.

What Should You Consider For After FUE Hair Transplant?

● The drugs given after the operation should be taken on a regular basis.
● Salty foods are not recommended. (To prevent edoema formation).
● The planted area must be washed with hair lotion without touching with hands for 10 days.
● Baths and sauna should not be used for 6 months after the operation.
● Swimming in the pool or the sea should be avoided for two months following the operation.
● Hats, helmets, and berets should be avoided for one month postoperative period.

What Is The Recovery Process?

Following the operation, the patient is discharged with various information and products-medications to be used at home. The patient's first dressing and washing is performed under clinical conditions 24 hours after the procedure, and the patient is given home washing instructions. Patients are advised to wash as desired, morning and evening, with special products for one week. All of the crusts in the planting area fall off after 7-10 days.
Following the shock loss that occurs between 2 and 6 weeks, 25% of the transplanted hair grows in the fifth month, 80% in the eighth month, and all at the end of 12 to 18 months.

How Long Should International Patients Stay For Hair Transplant?

Our patients should stay at least 3 days who come to Turkey for Hair Transplantation from abroad. No flight permits will be issued before this date.
Additionally, our patients should arrive to the hair transplant procedure to Turkey one day prior.
