Rhinoplasty

What is Nose Aesthetics (Rhinoplasty)? To Whom Can It Be Done?

Nose is a vital organ in terms of its shape and role in breathing that we see throughout all moments of the day. The goal of rhinoplasty is to achieve a natural-looking nose that is proportional to the patient's face, whose function is intact, and that the patient is satisfied with. It involves changing the size of the nose, narrowing the width of the nose, removing the bridge of the nose, raising the low nasal tip, reducing and elegantly shaping the wide nasal tip, reshaping the nostrils, correcting the nasal curvature, and relieving respiratory problems. Before the surgery, the patient's medical history is carefully reviewed. The individual's thoughts about her/his nose and expectations from the surgery are learned. You should inform your doctor about the drugs you use and whether or not you smoke.

What is the Rhinoplasty Surgery Procedure?

A doctor consultation is conducted prior to the rhinoplasty procedure, and the anatomy of the nose, nasal cartilage, and nose are examined from the inside. Intranasal photographs are used to evaluate breathing difficulties and sinusitis. Accordingly, the technique that will be used during the surgery is determined. The operation usually takes about 2 hours under general anesthesia. Reconstructive surgical revision surgeries are more likely to take longer. During the surgery, problems in the inner part of the nose (such as breathing problems and sinusitis) are first addressed. The bone structure, nasal cartilage, and septum are then intervened to eliminate these problems if the cartilage structure of the cambered rhinoplasty is damaged.
